It reminds me of a visual demonstration that Paul has done called Christmas wrappings. He uses several boxes fitted inside each other, each wrapped with different coverings. One of them is a baby blue for the "swaddling cloths" and one is in gray for the grave clothes. The final is gold sparkly cloth demonstrating Christ's glorified body and and ours to come.
